Emigrants' Monument

This monument was commissioned and donated in 2025 by Mr Donald Kunz from Seattle. I was responsible for creating the illustration, which was printed on a porcelain plaque and ultimately integrated into the monument, which is situated in Kirchenlamitz. The illustration depicts a young family with two children already aboard a ship bound for North America, giving a final farewell to the Port of Hamburg.
